The Independent Waste Alliance welcomes affiliate members who provide products and services to the solid waste and recycling industry. Affiliate members play a vital role in supporting IWA's mission and our hauler members. All affiliate members agree to uphold the following standards.
Affiliate members shall:
Provide quality products and services that meet industry standards and specifications
Accurately represent product capabilities, warranties, and service commitments
Honor pricing, delivery, and service commitments made to IWA members
Stand behind products and services with appropriate warranties and customer support
Affiliate members shall:
Treat IWA hauler members as valued customers and partners
Provide responsive customer service and technical support
Share industry knowledge and expertise that benefits members' operations
Offer fair and competitive pricing to IWA members
Affiliate members shall:
Maintain professional conduct at all IWA meetings, events, and communications
Respect confidential business information of IWA members
Treat all IWA members equitably without favoritism or discrimination
Financially support IWA through dues, sponsorships, or other appropriate contributions
Affiliate members shall:
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Compete fairly and independently in the marketplace
Not use IWA meetings or member lists for inappropriate solicitation
Maintain appropriate insurance and business credentials
Violations may result in warning, probation, suspension, or termination of affiliate membership as determined by the IWA Board of Directors.
Affiliate members accused of violations will receive written notice and opportunity to respond before any disciplinary action.
By joining IWA as an affiliate member, vendors acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Affiliate Member Code of Conduct.
